Battle Packs

The use of Battle Packs is fundamental to the Trait Wars experience. You can purchase Battle Packs on the Trait Wars platform and use them in-game.

Your cards will be displayed in your own personal inventory, and how and when to use them will be your call.

The card-opening experience with be interactive and animated - based on the Hearthstone model - as we think this is an incredibly important part of the excitement of 'opening' new packs. Each card will have a custom 3D design, with cards also ranked for rarity.

Over time, you will be able to burn cards to upgrade them, for example burning three common cards to get an uncommon, three uncommon for a rare, etc.

Battle Packs can produce three different card archetypes. The Booster, which provides your Zaguri with a score boost in that round. The Tactical, which limits your opponent, and the Parachute, which are more rare but include other prizes such as NFTs and ADA.

We will add more cards over time with different effects to keep Trait Wars fresh, but listed below are some of the 'starting cards'

Parachute Prizes are significantly rare, but this will include winning a pot of ADA, automatically advancing to the next round (when played) and winning free NFTs – all sent directly to your wallet.

As we progress through the roadmap, Battle Packs will be minted via the Spaceport for use in Trait Wars and will eventually replace the previous Battle Pack system.
